What’s a good healthy alternative to coffee?
Posted by: | CommentsI am looking for a HOT beverage alternative to coffee, that is natural and healthy - and preferably easy to make.
appreciate any suggestions
Herbal teas are good and there is a huge range.
Or you can make delicious teas from dried fruit peels such as orange, lemon, grapefruit, passion fruit and/or apple etc.
Carob is also a good hot drink that is easy to make.
Have you ever tried mint tea? It is very refreshing, particularly in hot weather. Pick the mint, wash it, and put it is a tall glass with sugar to taste, if you are so inclined. Pour on boiling water. Some people make it adding a tea bag or a teaspoon of black or green tea.
Don’t reject coffee completely. There is new evidence that coffee is NOT so bad for you as once thought.
How much caffeine is in instant cappuccino coffee?
Posted by: | CommentsI bought Hills Brothers brand cappuccino instant coffee mix and was wondering how much caffeine is in it? It doesn’t say. It says it has instant coffee in it…so how much caffeine is that? Is it the same amount as a regular cup? Baisicly I am just wondering if it is worth drinking in the A.M. I don’t want to drink it and get to work and be sleepy. So if you drink anything like it and get your caffeine buzz that would be an okay answer too. Thanks!
average mug of instant coffee is about 100mg of caffine
