How can I stop the foam from forming on the top when I make a cup of instant coffee?
Posted by: | CommentsI don’t drink instant coffee much but when I do every time I add the spoon full of coffee a light colored foam forms on the top. I scoop it off 3 or 4 times then the coffee looks black as it should. Any ideas on how to stop this?
Don’t drink instant coffee, it’s horrible stuff! There are many single-cup coffee makers that use real coffee and make a much much better cup.
Does adding coffee to milk make the milk less healthy?
Posted by: | CommentsDoes adding Coffee to milk make the milk less healthy?
in other words… does drinking a coffee latte make you get the full benefits of the milk included in that drink?
Thanks in Advance
It all depends on how you look at it.
You could ask, "does adding milk to my coffee make the coffee *more* healthy?"
Anyway, you’re not getting much milk in a coffee latte. You’d have to drink an awful lot of coffee to get a significant amount of calcium or other nutrition from the tiny bit of milk that’s in it.
You can also ask, "if I drink the milk, then I drink the coffee 10 minutes later, does that make the milk less healthy?" I think not. It’s not what you mix together that matters. It’s the relative amounts of each.
where could you buy instant coffee during the early 1900s?
Posted by: | Commentsi need to know all the places yuo could purchase instant coffee during the early 1900s and i also need to know what people did before instant coffee thx best answer gets 10 points
From a very little bit of research, it seems that instant decaf was invented around 1903, but regular instant not until 1920. Back then towns still had a local general store, not a grocery or supermarket. And obviously no convenience stores. And general stores were independently owned so they all had different names.
Before that, coffee was brewed in a by putting the coffee on the stove-top or in the fireplace or over a camp fire. I didn’t look up when the percolator was invented. Hope I helped some.
are there side effects of instant coffee?
Posted by: | Commentsi’ve been drinking about a cup of instant coffee daily for school. are there any side effects?
It’s just a weaker tasting, lower caffeine version of regular coffee. A cup a day shouldn’t affect anyone who isn’t overly sensitive to caffeine.
I don’t like the taste of instant, but it’s fine to drink; it just doesn’t have all the antioxidants of fresh.
