Is coffee healthy to drink?

Posted by: admin | Comments (15)

How many cups a day do you recommend? I don’t drink coffee but I was wondering if it’s going to help me stay awake. I normally drink atleast 2 cups of tea every single morning with breakfast and in the evening and yet it doesn’t effect me, I sleep too much these days, 8 hours at night and then 2-3 or even 4 hours in the afternoon and then again I feel sleepy early at night which is a problem cause I can’t study. It became like the opposite of insomnia I guess but I even sleep a lot both during day and night. Strange…

Yes good for health but not more than 3 cups in a day, I think.

I was just wondering if anyone knows how healthy or unhealthy the smoothies are at caribou coffee? Does anyone know if they contain high fructose corn syrup? I’m particularly curious about the green tea passion fruit smoothie. Thanks!
Does anyone know if they contain milk?

here is the caribou nutrtional info page, but sadly they only list nuts as an allergen and do not disclose the ingredients of their smoothie mix. they do have a customer support page.

on a side note, i would MUCH RATHER support caribou than starbucks, seeing as how caribou has been highly regarded for their rainforest contributions and fair trade efforts, none of which starbucks truly cares about (their fair trade items are not as fair trade as they’d like you to believe).

here’s some facts about caribou’s responsibility…

Whether you want a smooth, comfortable coffee to chill with or a decent caffeine hit to get you going again. What brand do you choose and why?

Instant coffe is like processed salume yeah its not really salume at all, or like taking bolony instead of bologna when I want a cupcake dont make it fat free!!!….but if I am ever stranded on an island of savages that do nothing but run arround in loin cloths, mate, sleep, mate, and drink instant coffe Ill take the Nestle French Vanilla please!!! ;)<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<Nestle French vanilla has a particulas smoothness to it accompanied perfectly by a wonderfull sweet velvety dark smell that gives you a pleasant relaxing feeling….and just enough kick to make it passable in my book.

I don’t make the coffee in the coffee maker, so would it be okay if I used milk instead of water?

Yes, actually that’s how my boyfriend grew up drinking it in Puerto Rico. He said everyone drinks it that way. We heat up about 6 oz of milk and put in 1 teaspoon of instant coffee and 6 teaspoons of sugar. I think the trick is to pour them in only one at a time and stir a lot. They also dip buttered toast in it, which I thought sounded weird at first but it really is great! We have found that taster’s choice tastes much better with milk than folgier’s. The folgiers tastes awfully bitter.
