Archive for instant coffee

I work in an office, alone, and can’t leave. No coffee pot so I drink instant while at work. I want something to keep me alert.
Ok, I’m also looking for something reasonably priced that I can get at the grocery store, if that’s possible.

I would say Cafe Americano at Starbucks? It has a kick to it

How much instant coffee per cup of water?

Posted by: admin | Comments (3)

I realized that my instant coffee jar is not only all in Spanish, but also doesn’t have any measurements on it. I need a cup of strong black coffee for a cake recipe but the actual coffee machine is broken. How much instant coffee should I use?

NONE

WHY?

I want to make Kahlua, but all the recipes say I have to have instant coffee, I don’t have any /: How do I make it without instant coffee and no other alcohol?
I can’t use regular brewed coffee…?

I assume you want to make some fake kahlua, using vodka as the alcohol…
Use brewed coffee, just make it a bit stronger than usual.

I misread a recipe and put the instant coffee granules into the cake mix, instead of into the frosting. Is that okay? I mean, is it safe to bake instant coffee?
Sorry, I’ve never made a mocha cake before, and I really hope I didn’t mess it up…

Depending on how much you added it could alter the taste a lil, but its not going to make it flamable or make it burn or dangerous to eat.
