Is instant coffee as healthy for a person as regular coffee?
Posted by: | CommentsIve heard from browsing on the internet that regular black coffee can be healthy for a person. Recently Ive begun to wonder if instant coffe is as good for a person as regular coffee suposedly is.
coffee by and large is not considered a healthy food . . it is a stimulant . . and based on that . . it may have some attributes that could speed up metabolism . . but it isn’t a health food
Now . . take coffee that has been cooked, then stabilized and freeze dried or some such thing . . general consensus is that this does in a pinch but is probably not as healthy as the real deal.
So you have a drink that has questionable benefits . . and another freeze dried drink that is probably a little lacking in comparison
If you like it . . drink it . . if you are thinking of healthy choices . . well . . ignore coffee and only take into consideration the caloric intake once you have prepared it the way you like it
Is there a such thing as a healthy flavored coffee creamer?
Posted by: | CommentsI LOVE those coffee creamers like coffee mate or whatever that are hazelnut, irish cream, etc. flavor, but I know that they’re full of crap and chemicals….is there any such thing as a healthy or all natural version of those? Someone told me that there was, but I’ve never seen one? Thanks!
i doubt it Casey.
The chemicals used to make "non-dairy creamers" can’t be good for us.

What is a "healthy" amount of coffee to drink?
Posted by: | CommentsI am 15 years old, about to be 16. 5′11" and 140 pounds, so a tall, skinny guy. I usually drink a mug (about 12 ounces) of coffee every morning, is this bad for my health in any way?
i dont think there is much to worry if you are in fairly good health, i tend to drink about the same (some times even more and extra espresso) and have been doing that for like15 years and have no problems. this is just my personal opinion

How Healthy is coffee for you?
Posted by: | CommentsThere has been reports on coffee, some bad and some good. I want to know how healthy is black coffee?
The latest research has not only confirmed that moderate coffee consumption doesn’t cause harm, it’s also uncovered possible benefits. Studies show that the risk for type 2 diabetes is lower among regular coffee drinkers than among those who don’t drink it. Also, coffee may reduce the risk of developing gallstones, discourage the development of colon cancer, improve cognitive function, reduce the risk of liver damage in people at high risk for liver disease, and reduce the risk of Parkinson’s disease. Coffee has also been shown to improve endurance performance in long-duration physical activities.
For those who drink coffee to stay alert, new research suggests that you’ll stay more alert, particularly if you are fighting sleep deprivation, if you spread your coffee consumption over the course of the day. For instance, if you usually drink 16 ounces in the morning, try consuming a 2-3 ounce serving every hour or so. Again, moderation is the key.
However, as the September issue notes, coffee is not completely innocent. Caffeine, coffee’s main ingredient is a mild addictive stimulant. And coffee does have modest cardiovascular effects such as increased heart rate, increased blood pressure, and occasional irregular heartbeat that should be considered. Studies have been largely inconclusive regarding coffee and its effect on women’s health issues such as breast health, cancer, and osteoporosis. But, the negative effects of coffee tend to emerge in excessive drinking so it is best to avoid heavy consumption.
