Can I use instant coffee in a coffee machine?
ByWell I ran out of coffee beans and I can't get to the shops and I want coffee asap lol.
I want to make cappacino and the machine manual says don't use instant coffee.
Has anyone used instant coffee in a coffee machine? any good? and how?
they are totally different substances. Would you put water in a cars gas tank? it's the same thing. Instant is freeze dried coffee, regular coffee is the coffee beans roasted and ground up.

Instant coffee was not designed for a coffee maker. Put some in a cup and add hot water.

Never use instant to make espresso, never should you try to brew it overly strong it will be too bitter. You can use instant coffee to make a "mock-a-chino" buy using heated milk, a spoon of honey and nutmeg or cinnamon - it won't be perfect but it will settle your taste.
Next time you go shopping pick up a can of "Don Fransisco" to keep on hand for best espresso. Good Luck!

make the instant coffee separately (just add hot water to it), and use the froth attachment / steamer to steam some milk, then add the foam to the prepared coffee.
It won't taste as good as real cappuccino, but it'll be relatively close. Don't ever use instant coffee in a coffee maker- the water in the coffee maker is too hot for instant coffee- it'll just scald it and make it taste disgusting.

no. not advisable. it will make your coffee machine sticky. just prepare the coffee as you normally prepare instant coffee (just add hot water) and mix with the frothy milk.
