Is Folgers instant coffee the same as instant coffee granules?
ByI’m going to make espresso brownies and it calls for instant coffee granules. I have Folgers instant coffee and am wondering if that would work?
Yes, I use my Folgers in lost of recipes. In cakes, pies and I even use it for a coffee braised roast beef, that is super delish!!!

Yes, Folger’s is simply a brand of instant coffee. Some instant coffees are more granular than others (if I recall correctly, Taster’s Choice has large granules) but it’s all basically the same thing.

Yes you can use it. If you’re concerned that it won’t completely dissolve in your recipe, measure out the amount for the recipe and run it through a spice or coffee grinder, or break it down with a mortar and pestle, or put it in a zip lock bag and roll over it a few times with a straight sided bottle, glass or rolling pin.
