Is instant coffee stronger or weaker than brewed?
ByI have been drinking instant Yuban coffee for many years. I just started drinking brewed Yuban and I would like to know which is stronger.
The strength of the coffee would vary based on how much you use (of either the ground or instant variety). One is not stronger or weaker than the other in any absolute sense, only in a comparative one. The instant coffee is stronger is you use more of it, and weaker if you use less of it.

It depends how much you add.
Instant is designed to dissolve and so you can create a stronger Coffee more quickly.
Brewed takes time and is all about the flavor, remembering for best results not to add straight boiling water, best to let it cool down to below 95 C.
If you leave real Coffee in the pot too long it can start to stew and begins to taste worse.
With this in mind, I would say instant but only because it is easier to make stronger.

You can make either brewed or instant coffee as strong or weak as you want to.
I drink brewed coffee and it’s pretty strong.
I have instant coffee around but I only use it for flavoring in chocolate recipes and to make slushy iced coffee.
