It’s not what one would describe as ‘healthy’, caffeine increases your heart rate and can increase your blood pressure. However, apparently small doses can actually help you feel more alert and energetic, and also works as a diuretic, which means it helps you wee more often.
Don’t drink it in excess, but as you are there isn’t much to worry about, maybe cut out one if you can manage it. But there’s plenty of people who drink much more coffee and live to tell the tale.

Coffee has had a bad reputation in the past. That said, newer findings show that coffee is good for the heart, and the circulatory system. I would say you are in no danger having a few good cups of Java a day. Hope this helps. Enjoy!

Yes, as long as you don’t already have high blood pressure. Coffee has been linked with lower rates of certain kinds of cancer, and can also help to control your blood sugar levels. The key is moderation. Moderate amounts of coffee can be good for you, even helping to control your weight, but excessive amounts of coffee can overstimulate your heart.

Well that’s rather difficult to say, scientifically speaking the experts are torn on whether or not it’s actually good for you.
From personal experience I believe it depends on the person drinking said coffee and how they’re drinking it. When I was in college I was drinking 2-3 mugs of strength 5 black coffee a day because I found the commuting so tiring. I could handle that fine, it would help me to feel more awake and alert for 3-4 hours but even if I drank it late in the evening I could still fall asleep with no problem, even immediately after.
I did become slightly desensitized to caffeine though so once I finished college I cut back to one mug.
My cousin on the other hand has a terrible tolerance level for caffeine. One weak latte will have him jittery, nervous, irritable and he can’t drink it within 8 hours of trying to sleep or he’ll be up all night.
It wouldn’t be at all healthy for someone like him to drink that amount of coffee as clearly it has a very negative effect on him. You just have to monitor your own reactions and see if it effects you negatively. As long as you’re a healthy person (e.g. no heart conditions) and it doesn’t disrupt your usual pattern of activity (like trying to sleep at night) then I don’t think there’s any harm in drinking that amount of coffee. If you get to the point where you can’t function without your mug of coffee then you might want to consider cutting back or laying off it for a while.
