Instant coffee?
ByIts been around since WW2 and its still awful. Has anybody found one that tastes remotly liked brewed coffee.
Luzianne makes an instant chicory coffee that is pretty decent-but the only place I’ve gotten it was in Louisiana-it’s not even on their website.

You have to get use to it.
I like Folger’s classic. I heat 6oz of water in the microwave for 1 minute and 15 seconds. Using a teaspoon measure, I put one teaspoon of Folger’s in the hot water, stir, and then let it sit for a few minutes before drinking it. I like mine black.
Measuring is very important.
One instant you might like is Foldger’s Straight Up Cafe Latte. Follow the directions on the container. Very good.

If you are getting instant coffee you also get ‘plastic milk’ the non-creamer powder, that makes it even worse
In Britain you will visit people who have prepared a really carefully cooked gourmet style meal and then they will quite unashamadly serve instant coffee.

My mom used to drink Maxwell house instant coffee and I remember it making a swell "cafe con leche". As for a brewed coffee then you should really try a brand called Pilon or Bustelo or Alto Grande (see others below) in your coffee / espresso machine.

The only way I use instant coffee is when i’m making ice-coffee with milk and sugar. Other than that it is gross.
